Privacy
Short version: ZivBase is a private, invite-only office tool. Nothing you send us is ever shown on this website.
What ZivBase is
ZivBase is the workspace that P.D. Roth's office uses to keep resumes, notes and follow-ups in one place. Only people the office has invited can sign in. There is no public directory, no browsing, and no search of people on this site.
What the form collects
When you use "Submit your information" we collect only what you type or upload:
- Details about the person being introduced: full name, an optional Hebrew name, an optional date of birth, and city.
- Your contact details: your name, phone, email, and an optional best time to call.
- Anything you add in the notes box, and any resume or photo you upload.
- Who is filling out the form (a parent, the person themselves, or someone else) and your confirmation that you are permitted to share this.
To keep out automated spam we use a security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) and a hidden anti-spam field. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, sees your connection details as it delivers the page. When you type in the City box, the letters you type are sent through our server to an address-lookup service (Geoapify) to offer suggestions; they are not stored with your submission, and you can ignore the suggestions and type freely. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
Who sees it
Your submission goes to P.D. Roth's office. A member of the office reads it before anything is added. Details are shared with another shadchan only when the office chooses to do so. We do not sell or publish your information.
Emails we send you, such as the confirmation, do not contain private details about the person you submitted.
How long we keep it
The office keeps your information for as long as it is useful for suggesting introductions, and not longer than needed. If the office declines a submission, it is removed. You can ask for removal at any time.
Asking for a correction or removal
You can ask the office to correct or remove your information at any time. Reply to the confirmation email you received after submitting, and tell us what you would like changed. We will confirm by email once it is done.
